Haynes’ bold, occasionally quirky vocals front this Shreveport-based four-piece that displays unexpected range accompanying their indelible garage-band soul.  The raucous roots/punk swirl of “Chokin’ On Your Spit” may not prepare one for the melodically suave ballad “Tide”.  The band’s feral instincts sift through equally undeniable pop smarts on tracks such as “Sun” and “Don’t Need It”.
