Popa Chubby continually matches his guitar muscle with comparable clout singing and scribing. An indisputably top-tier guitar-slinger, the NYC-bred Popa consistently delivers soulful, full-bellowed vocals with equal punch and reliably concocts tasty & varied originals.  Interspersed among kick-butt blues-rockers such as “Going Downtown See My Old Gal Sue”, “Cry Till It’s a Dull Ache” and “Motorhead Saved My Life” are fresh sounding instrumental departures- the jazzy “Wes Is More” and a reggae-esque recast of the Everly Brothers hit “Bye Bye Love”.
