With radiant energy and a brash attitude developed over several decades of professional performance, vocalist Nicole Henry delivers pure pop and delightful jazzy covers of selections from Maria Muldaur (“Midnight at the Oasis”), James Taylor (“Your Smiling Face”), Rodgers and Hart (“I Didn’t Know What Time It Was”), Sade (“Is It a Crime”), Buffy Saint-Marie (“Until It’s Time for You to Go”),  Joan Armatrading (“Love and Affection”), Stevie Wonder (“Overjoyed”) and others. With a piquant retro vibe, Henry is able to make everything sound both new and old at once. She imparts a bright, brisk pop sheen to warm, winsome “Feeling Good.”  And Nicole’s lovely, limpid voice also does well with a smart, punchy introspective “Wild is the Wind.” Her formidable band of is made up of top notch south Florida accompanists. Time To Love Again is a tranquil, thoughtful, torchy triumph. (Joe Ross, Roots Music Report)
