Sundogs co-founder Stan Snow is blasting off big time with his 2023 solo CD Into The Great Beyond. Backed up by big name musicians including guitar icon Lyle Workman and drummer Abe Laboriel Jr., as well as backing vocalist Valerie Pinkston, to name a few, singer-songwriter Stan Snow reminds me of a cross between blue-eyed U.K. soulster Lewis Taylor, the late great Swedish pop pundit Citizen K and iconic ‘60s rock legend Speedy Keen if that’s not too far out to fathom, at least tonally.

With its tasty mix of classic Beatles / McCartney-esque guitar-centric rock and pop, Into The Great Beyond has been getting good press coast to coast. Both as a songwriter and a guitarist / vocalist, Stan delivers, track after track. If anything, the album offers listeners a modern day flashback to the gene pool of retro-rock delights. The critics have been heaping praises upon this intriguing Stan Snow album, making Into The Great Beyond one of the most providential solo albums of 2023.
