Whether it’s Brock Zeman’s vocals or his words that pull one in might be a toss-up.  Or it may be the tandem of a voice hailing from Tom Waits-ian regions and lyrics, frequently of a conversational nature, that never fail to cast a vivid impression.  The Ottawa-based singer/songwriter’s vocal persona looms in further contrast with the often delicate melodies and always elegant instrumental backdrops on this memorable set. The talk-singing style of the first cut, the title track, grabs one’s attention right away, and this fellow’s work will not likely let go for the duration.  Other notable tracks include “Walking In The Dark”, “10 Year Fight” and “Little Details”.
