With a vocal delivery sounding decidedly south of his Toronto beginnings, Al Lerman serves up an original blues set as enthusiastic, congenial and markedly tuneful as one is likely to come across.  The feel and character of each track distinguishes itself from the previous one; the consistent strength of the material and the overall good-natured atmosphere being the constants here.  Even songs with a sting- “Dirty Little Secret”, “Hand-Me-Down Hate”- have an “up” element present.  Other standouts include “You Think You Know Me”, “Everybody’s In The Mood” and “A Few More Miles To Go”.
