Canadian vocalist/songwriter Holly Hyatt sounds right at home treading classic soul turf, taking on time-tested vamps with a pleasing balance of savvy and grace on tracks such as “River Flows” and “So Close”. The backdrop shifts to breezy jazz/pop on “Midnight Moonsong” and the chorus hook of the title track grabs the ear and holds on. A worthy candidate for the oncoming summer’s official good-vibes anthem is the reggae-flavored “Create Unity”.  Sharp use of vocal backup and one-man horn and reed section Clinton Swanson throughout speak to the set’s smart production.
