About the Album

Florida’s Acoustic/Blues Duo Releases
Their First Full Length CD!
Since forming in 2015, Bear & Robert (Cindy Bear and Franc Robert, pronounced row-bear), have been serving up a heady mixture of Blues, Folk and Americana that has won fans across the Florida Folk and Blues scenes, and now with “Hearts In Blues” the world will discover what Bear & Robert are really all about!
Starting with the hokum blues of “Oven In Love” and “Take Me Back To Tampa Blues” the duo trade vocals and guitars seamlessly. “Dockery Farm Fish Fry” calls back to the down-home delta blues, while “Half Moon Over Memphis” features a modern take on folk-blues. The rollicking “Need More Sumpin” is a humorous take on life’s troubles, while “Mulligan Stew” can brighten up     anyone’s day with its kazoo chorus! The love ballad “Lights Of Jacksonville” and the     pastoral instrumental “Sunday Morning” explore the folk side of the duo, while “Preacher’s Wife Blues” and “Life & Death Blues” feature resonator slide guitar and a deep well of story telling. To round out the CD are the road trip boogie “Mississippi On My Mind” and the snowbird swing of “Goin Down to Florida”!
Since joining forces both musically and romantically, Bear & Robert have become a “must see” at music festivals all over Florida, and beyond. With their new CD, the world will discover a new talent rising!
