ALBUM OVERVIEW

Dancing Devils – A hard driving contemporary blues tale of dancing demons and guardian angels told alongside wailing guitar solos and soulful background vocals.

The Legend of Dog Cat Elliot  recounts the miserable life and ultimate fate of a real life hard-living backwoods scoundrel.

Loan Me a Dime - Best known for the version recorded by Boz Scaggs, Fenton Robinson’s slow blues classic, has never been covered by a female vocalist, until now. A “Nancy P. Marriott Scholar”, Boston based Kristin Lawler maintains an active stage performance schedule and is a Studio Voice instructor and Director of the Collegiate Chorale at Stonehill College.

More outlaw country than blues, in the tradition of the Bakersfield sound,  Hard Road Blues recounts the life and times of an old school road warrior looking for love as he cruises along America’s highways and byways.

Little Long Haired Angel – All the support and encouragement from one man’s true love can’t keep him from spiraling down further and hitting rock bottom. He ultimately begs his angel to go and, “Let me be”.

Rhythm in the Sky – The unexpected loss of a young talent with so much promise is very difficult, even looking back many years.

Goin’ Down to Walpole – A hopeless convict pleas for redemption in this dark narrative of his life and likely fate.

The Last Rodeo – A slow moody blues in the tradition of smoky nightclub female jazz singers.

Rhythm in the Sky - Acoustic- A stripped down unplugged take as it might sound under a spotlight in the round.
