About the Album

Having focused on songwriting, lyrical poetry, and playing music that pushes listeners into the ecstatic. 

The Zen RyDells called upon producer Kevin McKendree (Delbert McClinton, John Hiatt) to produce, capture, and unleash that sound and energy for their debut EP...Something out of Nothing. 

Fusing Americana music with elements of realism, Magic Realism, stream of consciousness, and any kind of consciousness that may apply. Their songs explore all sorts of characters finding their way through the world. 

Robbie RyDell (aka Kenneth Robinson) & Eddie RyDell (aka Ed Hunsberger) strive to write up to the level of those songwriters, poets, writers, film makers, and artists that make the edge such a fantastic place to explore.
