About the Album

We all have to find our own way in life.   My parents both told me that and modelled it!  My Dad left the town where his family of 15 siblings lived and my Mom left her job in the federal government, to be entrepreneurs in an English town 2 hours away.  I saw first hand what it takes to carve your own path and find your own way.  My Mom modeled classiness and with my Dad’s love of fast machines and racing and Cadillacs, this attitude is deeply woven in this song about carving your own path, taking control of your life and going for it…AND doing it with class.

 

Having grown up in the pits at the racetrack and being the first born (yes, my Dad got a girl and not a boy…so I grew up with cars, fishing, hunting etc.), I was a bit of a tom-boy.  My Mom is super classy, she loves fashion, clothes and is graceful, she taught me that you CAN be a classy car-chick, ’break the mold, take control” and live life on your own terms.

 

It takes nerve to chase your dreams, the secret is to do it with class and women are strong enough to do anything when the “prize is worth the pain”, every mother out there can relate to that statement. So don’t wait to take charge of your life because ’just like that car, it’s gonna fly by girl, so hit the gas and enjoy the ride” ..on the racetrack of course!
