About the Album
“Deuce & Heeter – The '79 Sessions is a collaboration between songwriters and musicians Deuce Denninger & Jason Heeter. Recorded at Welcome to 1979 Studio in Nashville, TN, this eclectic Americana Rock album will keep you moving from start to finish.
Kicking off with the driving Blues of “Ain't Gonna Work”, Heeter wastes no time in bringing the boogie. Following up are Deuce's soulful, rocking single “Doin' Alright”, and the laid-back dobro-tinged “True Love”. Heeter rockets to the moon with the Bill Tweedy written “Ordinary Guy”, and Deuce's classic Blues Rock sound shines through in “Long Lost Train”, and in his hometown anthem “St. Mary's Blues.” Heeter shows you his mellow side with “Finish Line”, only to pull back the curtain on his outlaw side with the raucous “Right & Wrong”. The album closes with a bang, in the form of the heavy groove of “Oh Child”. From the struggles of the working man to love at first sight, this album will take you down memory lane, and have you making new ones.”
Special Thanks
A Special Thanks to Bill Tweedy for making it all happen.
