About the Album

  • Less Is More’ is the fifth album from Americana / Acoustic Blues artist Bill Filipiak. 
  • As the name implies, ‘Less Is More’ contains 8 new stripped-down tracks that incorporate acoustic instruments and often a more laid back and basic arrangement. 
  • As with his previous 3 albums, Bill wrote, produced, engineered and mixed the entire album playing all the instruments and providing all the vocals. 
  • Bill and his wife Kristi recently moved into an apartment in El Porto (north Manhattan Beach), California and you’ll notice the inspiration and influence of the ocean lifestyle incorporated into several of the tracks on the album including “Right Wave LT,” “Sand In My Hair,” “Soak It All In” and even subtly in the ballad “We Always Do.” 
  • Bill is originally from Buffalo, NY where he grew up on a dairy farm in the suburb of Elma.
  • Bill is an avid Jeep enthusiast and currently drives his 7th Jeep. This one a Yellow Jeep Wrangler. 
  • Bill is also a runner and recently took up surfing.
