About the Album

After 25 years of fronting the internationally recogzied blues band Misty Blues, Gina Coleman has decided to release her first solo album which hightlights the unquie tamber of her voice which evokes the visoral emotions of her lyrics.

This album was recorded within an hour of Gina returning from her mother’s funeral. She hit an unexpected snow storm coming back from the service, resulting in a 9 hour drive to the studio taking 18 hours. She was up for 40+ hours when her final vocals were recorded. Mixing engineer, Ronan Chris Murphy, truly captured the enormity of emotions she struggled to contain. Ultimately, Gina wanted her first solo album to showcase a vocal quality/approach she rarely uses on Misty Blues recordings. Little did she know that the circumstances leading to this recording session would result in the personification of Unequivocally Blue.
