About the Album

Crowes Pasture's first full length CD was released in late May and debuted on the folk radio charts at no. 20. The album is a collection of 12 songs from three of their recent projects:

(1) Five songs, Hobo's Lullaby, Song to Woody, Pastures of Plenty, I Ain't Got No Home and Going Down the Road Feelin' Bad were recorded as a tribute to Woody Guthrie in early 2016.

(2) Three original songs, Madison, Best Believe, and Pay to Play were recorded in Nashville in 2015 with bluegrass phenoms and 2015 IBMA Momentum Award nominees John Mailander (fiddle) and Molly Tuttle (banjo and guitar).

(3) Three original songs, Louisiana Charm, Don't You Know and As I Do, were recorded in the spring of 2016 in Cambridge, MA with accordion player L. Stroker Rogovin and fiddle player David Delaney. These songs are more emotional and folk rock based than prior work. One bonus cover, This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody), is a fun and pop-y cover of the Talking Heads eighties hit.
