Music artists have reached "a turning point" in wanting a full accounting of the digital music industry, says former Talking Heads member David Byrne. Jay-Z now owns artist-friendly service Tidal, while high-profile artists such as Taylor Swift, Neil Young and Prince have pulled their catalogs from some streaming services and used social media to call out labels.
