About the Band
Mike Kuster filled his debut album, "Better Late Than Never", with country songs he wrote grounded in his love for classic country music. Mik tapped a group of talented award-winning musicians to bring his songs to life on the album including Dr. Ford (keyboard, percussion, and producer), Chris Condon (guitars), Caleb Mundy (bass guitar), Smith Curry (pedal steel guitar and dobro), Gary Carter (steel guitar), and Michael Cleveland (fiddle and mandolin). The first singles released have garnered Mike four nominations with Independent Music Network; Country Breakout Single of 2021, Favorite Male Country Artist of 2021, Favorite Single of 2021, and Favorite Impact Artist of 2021 . Mike grew up on a small farm in Frederick County, Maryland. He sang in his church choir as a child, played violin in school and church, and learned guitar watching his father play. Mike played fiddle in a local band, and worked as a DJ for WMUC before marrying his high school sweetheart, Emily. Mike and Emily live in Frederick County, and are raising three children. With two children in college and one in high school, Mike has returned to his love of music and performing.
