About the Band
Emilie Clepper is a Québcois/Texan recording artist who has released albums spanning multiple styles, but primarily folk and country.
Her latest release (Oct. 2023) is a tribute to her father's musical influence on her. Titled The Family Record, it offers 11 songs penned by her dad, Russell Clepper, a Lubbock-born, Corpus Christi-raised songwriter who is currently living in the Pacific Northwest.
The country/folk style is expertly produced by Montreal muscial wunderkind Joe Grass and features roots music Grammy winner Joel Savoy on fiddle on many of the tracks. Engineer Warren Spicer of the Canadian Indie/Rock band, Plants and Animals, recorded most of the tracks at MixArt Studio in Montreal. Additional recording took place at Joel's studio in Eunice, La.
