Kivett Bednar Band
Portland - Oregon - United States

Gritty Texas Blues meets the heart of the Pacific Northwest.

Kivett Bednar is a guitarist/vocalist, amp maker and visual artist originally from Austin, TX and now residing in Portland, OR. His time in Austin was well-spent, soaking in the Texas blues traditions by sneaking into Antone's to hear the greats and playing along with his dad's old records. Blending those influences with the skills he built at Berklee College of Music has led to an award-winning sound that is gritty, heartfelt and distinctly his own. Together with Jeff Langston on bass, Edwin Coleman III on drums and Pat McDougall on organ, Kivett leads an outfit that delivers a compelling stew of dynamic original blues and deep-digging covers.
