About the Band
TOM DIKON is an award-winning blues performer and a Hohner Harmonica Endorsed Artist. He’s performed across the United States and Europe, and his harmonica work has been featured on several recording labels across the East Coast. For 3 years he fronted ”The Jukes”—a powerhouse boogie band performing shows year at local venues, festivals, tour ship “blues cruises” and concerts, and now focuses on acoustic performances throughout the region. He recently released a solo CD of original material - "Tom Dikon & The Jukes Revival -- Been A Long Time Baby" -- with some of the best musicians in the Hampton Roads area. He was also featured with the legendary Eddie Shaw (and the “757 All Stars”) which was a finalist for the 2013 “Traditional Blues Album Of The Year” Nationwide. He is an accomplished harmonica educator and craftsman, and customizes harmonicas for many advanced performers. In addition to his own musical endeavors, he performs highly-acclaimed harmonica clinics at festivals and artistic events across Virginia.
