Described as having one hell of a voice – ranging from the deep richness of  etta James to the high clear tones of Aretha Frankin and the soulful cry of Gladys Knight…she performs .a unique blend of Blues, Jazz and Funk and Gospel.  She has a wicked sense of humour and her stage presence has been known to border on the burlesque side of New Orleans , her songs filled with tales of love, lust and despair all told with verve and honesty and drenched in Souther Gospel/soul styled harmonies. . Her voice has been described as one that can Howl, growl or soothe a savage brow and has has the depths of Etta James, The height and clarity of Aretha and the emotive cry of Gladys Knight. 

Liza grew  up in a musical houselhold steeped in Gospel and Church music. She played several instruments Dbut only felt at home when singing her heart out to a blues tune..She moved to Sydney when young and bathed herself in Blues, Jazz, Soul and funk music…

  She is a triple Australian Blues award winner for her album "Trouble Goin' Down" which reached no 2 on the Blues charts and stayed for over 18 months. Her new CD "GIVE YOU HELL" released in 2016,  reached no 2 and stayed in the charts for over a year and earned her a spot in the finals for Australian Blues Artist of the year, where she was the only female..and has sung with some of the top Artists in Oz and overseas including Tony Neville and Regina Valesquez. She also has played at Australias top festivals Thredbo Blues & Jazz, Broadbeach blues and East coast Blues fest with Ben Harper and Candy Kane.

Liza has toured for the last 3 years as the lead in theatre rockumentary Pearl – The Janis Joplin Story to stunning reviews, The First Ladies of Soul, and was the only female finalist in Australian Blues artist of the year in 2016, as well as feat in 2 shows at the Sydney opera House in the Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald 100 year tribute shows.
