About the Band
Veteran musicians Tim Crouch and Dennis Crouch are no strangers to the music community performing over the years with superstar and Grammy® award winning artists in multiple music formats. Tim has performed and recorded with Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Alison Krauss, Dierks Bently, Marty Raybon, Ricky Skaggs and Charlie Pride to name a few.
Tim Crouch has been playing fiddle and mandolin since the age of 7. Tim along with his dad and Brother Dennis, performed with their family group and won the Arkansas State Fiddlers Championship 5 times, the National Championship 2 times, and many other contests as well. Tim Crouch became a Virginia Boy with Jim and Jesse and the Virginia Boys, performing at the Grand Ole Opry at the young age of 19. Tim played with the group for 3 years.
Tim and Dennis are from Strawberry Arkansas where Tim still resides. Dennis started playing bass when he was eight years old and performed with the award winning Crouch family group. Dennis Crouch moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1996 and two years later co-founded the hugely popular western swing band Time Jumpers. He has recorded and performed with Elton John, Gregg Allman, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Robert Plant, John Mellencamp, Ralph Stanley, Loretta Lynn, Vince Gill, The Chieftains, Steven Tyler, Harry Connick Jr., Diana Krall and many more.
