Sweden’s love affair with all things Americana, specifically West Coast pop-rock music circa 1972 comes back into focus on Oh Sedona!, the 2020 CD from the band known as A.K. & The Brotherhood. Every track on this cool album has something to offer and the album's lead-off track “California Free Bird” sets the tone as a fine introduction to this multi-talented band. Featuring tracks penned by Alo Karlsson, the 12-track album features production and mixing of Johan Glössner, who also brings in some fine fretboard work on electric guitars, as well as contributing keys and background vocals. Backing up Alo and Johan, Oh Sedona! also spotlights a number of musicians and the full-bodied sounds are perfectly captured in the clear as a bell CD sound. Fans of the spry Country-rock of the Grateful Dead circa American Beauty as well as more recent music by Graham Parker & The Rumour will find a lot to appreciate on this fine 2020 musical introduction to A.K. & The Brotherhood.
