Bars may feel a little different these days but pub-rock is alive and thriving in the work of this Western Canada four-piece.  Rockin’ ballads, drenched in blue-collar heart, are delivered in relentless fashion.  Band songsmiths guitarist Roly Sandoval and keyboardist John Hannah each sport a sense for the sweet spot between pop instincts and dance floor mojo upon which the band delivers sounds evocative of classic genre outfits such as The Rumour and Brinsley Schwartz.  With a nod to Sam & Dave, “Bad Girl” is a most spin-worthy candidate as are “Slip Away”, “Lovin’ Arms” and “Run To The Night”.  Great stuff.
