The one-two punch of Ronnie Earl’s guitar and Diane Blue’s vocals makes for solid, satisfying work on a set mixing home studio and “live” tracks, generally alternating Ms. Blue’s features with the bandleader’s.  Ms, B. maintains a serious simmer on “You Don’t Know What Love Is” and the Lillian Green gem “In The Dark”.  Dylan’s “Lord Protect My Child” is another track of note.  Mr. Earl’s signature carefully crafted solos and bright-with-bite tone get plenty of room on instrumental tracks including “Blues For Lucky Peterson”.  Dave Limina contributes solid Hammond B3 work.
