Alongside producer/drummer Dave King, Steve Strongman has put together a tasty blues and rock offering with the creative thumb firmly pressed on the song-crafting side of the scale.  The Canadian guitarist/vocalist and a pair of rock-solid studio line-ups, on Nashville and Hamilton sessions, deliver reliably on a varied group of Strongman/King collaborations.  Standouts include rockers “Tired Of Talkin,”and “Livin’ The Dream” and the mid-tempo ballad “Still Crazy ‘Bout You”.  Taking on Al Green is a high-risk affair but Mr. Strongman delivers quite respectably on the sole cover present, “Let’s Stay Together”.
