This recently rediscovered “live” 1983 set provides an appealing snapshot of an acknowledged blues master plying his trade in true workmanlike fashion.  The late Mr. Fulson here sounds strong and inspired on both vocals and guitar with a savvy backup band in support.  The undeniably raw nature of the recording lends character and context to the proceedings.  Standouts include “You’re Gonna Miss Me”, “Too Many Drivers” and “Stoop Down Baby”.
