With a hefty helping of in-band songwriting savvy to call upon, drummer “Big Al” Lauro and crew deliver a tasty and varied roots-bound set, slices of which should find their way to airwaves.  Channeling Wilbert Harrison, the cheerful, anthem-like title track, co-written by Mr. Lauro and guitarist Marcel Anton, kicks things off, laced with fleet harmonica play from guest Jason Ricci and slide work from Luther Dickinson.  Mr. Anton also penned the follow-up, the stylish shuffle “I Need A Fix”, the first here to showcase the ear-catching work of pianist Wayne Lohr.  Bassist Mark Parsons and Anton serve up the chorus-enhanced rock ballad “Sweet Louise”. Good stuff.
