It’s always time for a fresh-sounding set to drop and Chicago vocalist Derrick Procell obliges with a mostly original and consistently stylish song list; his brawny vocals synced up with smart sounding horn charts and well placed vocal backups.  Top-notch airplay fare is everywhere here including Procell’s co-writes “Skin In The Game”, “The Contender”, “A Tall Glass of You” and the sole cover, a sly, sassy take on the Kinks’ “Who’ll Be The Next In Line”.  Good, good stuff.
