Dudley Tate enhances his top-flight guitarslinger bona fides with original songs replete with stylish hooks and transitions, above and beyond the call of typical muscle rock.  The Cincinnati-based axeman drops a rock-solid set which shouldn’t disappoint those in search of fretboard fireworks either.  The sole cover, the Tinsley Ellis co-write “A Quitter Never Wins”, makes for a nice set-closer. Standing out as well are the leadoff track, “Black and Blues”, “Get Stoned” and the infectious “I Want More (Wild Young Days)”.
