Overstuffed with ear-catching fare, Jeff Pitchell’s current offering almost dares a listener to pick a “best” track of the lot.  The Hartford CT-bred guitarslinger/tunesmith here delivers a tasty, stylistically varied set with not a slouch to be found.  The title track moves with a NOLA-like swagger that should garner airplay, followed up with a goes-down-easy jump blues, “Wait”.  The urgent ballad “Caught Up In The Wave” is a standout track as is the inspirational “Every Day”.  Mr. Pitchell’s sure-fingered fretwork is to be found all though the set but also noteworthy is Duane Betts’ signature play on “When We Kiss”. Good, good stuff.
