Tinsley Ellis does not live by smokin’ guitar alone.  The venerable blues-rocker shows solid song crafting skills as well.  His new offering holds numerous airplay opportunities with its tasty and varied fare.  Of special note are the minor-keyed numbers, “Seven Years”, “All In The Name Of Love” and the particularly haunting “The King Must Die”.  The Clapton-esque ballad “Give It Away” also stands out.  Those in search of hot axe work should have no complaints as well.
