Joined by Snarky Puppy multi-instrumentalist Michael League, David Crosby creates a lyrically intimate and melodically compelling space; a weave of exotic guitar tunings and of vocal multi-tracks more than a little reminiscent of C, S & N. The congenial nature of this affair makes it all the more impacting when the lyrics sometimes shift from sweet- “Things We Do For Love”, “Paint You A Picture”- to searing “Somebody Other Than You”, “What Makes It So”.  Other tracks of note include “Drive Out To The Desert”, “The Us Below” and “The City”.
