The enchanting two-part vocal leads of Rebecca Marie Miller, late of The Mynabirds, and Joy Pearson are a constant on this highly atmospheric set.  And at the core of the kindred-spirited production are band members cellist Jesse Dettwiler and acoustic guitarist Edward Cameron.  Emblematic of the overall vibe here is the track “Breathe”, with concurrent streams of melodic serenity and tension underneath. The lumbering tempo of “Heart So Heavy” counter-intuitively serves the ear-catching nature of this song’s melody.  Other standouts include “Ether’s Arms”, “Sharp Spine” and “Heavy Eyes”.
