Multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Tim O’Donnell and violinist/vocalist Rebecca Dawkins play the classic country couple with abundant humor & charm, setting up some not-so-predictable mood changes by way of their fresh sounding ballad fare.  Old-school sparrin’ and sparkin’ (“Will and Faith”, “Big Heart, Hard Head”) takes turns with enchanting atmospherics (“The Glades”) and rock-steady passion (“Our Last Time”).  Covers fit the pattern as well with an appealing run-through of the Conway Twitty/Loretta Lynn face-off, “You’re The Reason Our Kids Are Ugly” and an unexpected and emotionally disarming take on the Jimmy Webb classic “Wichita Lineman”.
