The precocious nature of the leadoff track on Starseeds, “Peeping Tom”, appealing as it is, barely prepares one for the emotional clout and fire Kerri Powers brings to the readings of the ballads and bluesy fare that follow. Standouts include “Somewhere On The Vine”, “Polly” and “Mine The River”.
