Alongside solid workouts on some very respectable originals, this Louisiana-bred duo serves up a handful of quite appealing covers as well including the Stones’ “No Expectations” and the folk perennial “If I Had A Hammer”.  Tiffany Pollack throws some serious heat under the Nina Simone torcher “Do I Move You?” then transits with apparent ease to Joni Mitchell’s “River”.  Among the originals the title track is a hard-chargin’ standout.
