Kevin Mark

Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter Kevin Mark established his musical style through an early study of standard electric blues phrasing, drawing primary inspiration from classic 1950s and 1960s blues masters.

Throughout his career, Kevin has performed across prominent Canadian and international circuits, anchoring blues festivals across Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes, and France. His live performances and contributions to the Canadian blues community have earned multiple distinctions, including a Maple Blues Award, the CBC Galaxy Rising Star Award, and a first-place finish in the Toronto Blues Society’s National Talent Search. Regionally, Kevin has been recognized at the Quebec Lys Blues Awards with multiple honors, including four selections as Best Live Act as well as Male Blues Artist of the Year.

Kevin’s studio discography began gathering broader critical acclaim with the release of the album Rolling The Dice (2005), which was produced by Juno Award-winner Jack de Keyzer and recorded live off the floor by Alec Fraser at Toronto's Liquid Studio. The project was subsequently named Album of the Year at the Quebec Lys Blues Awards. Kevin followed the release with Cuttin’ Loose (2007), recorded at his independent Hideaway Studio facility; the album expanded his international reach, spending two consecutive months at the top of the blues charts in France.

Beyond his solo career, Kevin operates as a session musician, producer, and designer, notably collaborating on the rock 'n' roll release Let’s Swing! by Big Time Lew, where he served as a performer, co-writer, producer, and album art designer.

Backed by a four-piece ensemble composed of notable Montreal blues musicians, Kevin expanded his catalog in the fall of 2026 with the release of the EP studio project, Lefty's Back.
