Since moving to Nashville in 2000 Ward Davis has certainly left his mark on the city. Ward is credited with writing songs recorded by country greats like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Trace Adkins as well as many others.

15 years in a 10 year town is Ward’s own release where he treats us to more of his perfectly constructed lyrics with the added bonus of paring them with his smooth effortless singing. With producer Jim “Moose” Brown in collaboration it doesn’t surprise me that since this album's release in September 2015, it has been on the RMR charts every week.

Hidden amongst the eight original songs on the album written by Ward we also get treated to a special little goody. The Ed Bruce classic, “Old Wore Out Cowboys,” a collaboration with Willie Nelson and Jamey Johnson.

Standouts include “No Goin’ Home”, “15 Years in a 10 Year Town” and “I Got You”.
